Sea food is always good and tasty. And cook it so fast and easy. I like to represent my way to cook the Dungeness crab.
First of all you have to select most live crab. I am cleaning crab before cooking. The trick is to remove the top shell, clean up the crab and boil it for 5-8 min with low water with cream. To remove top shell push the palm between top shell and legs, hold the crab for legs, support the crab at the mouse area and push hands with crab down. With difficulty the top shell should separate from the rest of the crab. After that it is easy to clean the crab. Crab has meat in the legs and the body area where legs join to body.

• 2 live Dungeness crabs, large (option), clean and break in to half 5.5 Lbs. / 2.5 kg
(after prepared 3.3 lbs. / 1,500 g)
• 2 cups of cream 500 ml
• 3 tbsp. of salt
• 5 bay leaves
• 3 tsp. of dry dill (or 1 bunch of fresh dill)
Sauce for serve
• 2 tbsp. of butter, melted
• 3 gloves of garlic
• Salt to taste


Take the 10 L pot
1. Add 2 L of water (just to almost cover crabs)
2. Boil the water
3. Add cream
4. Add bay leaves
5. Add dill
6. Add salt
7. Add prepared crabs
8. Cook it for 5-8 min with high heat.
9. Remove crabs from the pot and serve it with melted butter with garlic
10. It is good.
