It is boring for me to form dumplings. I found how to have homemade dumpling and void the boring part of it.
It is good to serve with sour cream or mayonnaise as well as with roasted pepper or lecho You can keep frozen Lazy Meat Dumplings up to 2 months in a freezer.
Lazy Meat Dumplings (Lenivie Pelmeni)
• 2 ½ lbs. - grinding pork (beef, chicken, turkey) (500 g / 2.5 lbs.)
• 1 big onion, finely chopped (200 g / 7 oz.)
• 1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
• 2 tsp. of salt to test
• ¼ tsp. of black pepper to test.
• 100 ml of cold water
• 5 cups of all-purpose flour (500 g / 2.5 lbs)
• 1 eggs
• 1 cup of cold water
• ½ tsp. of salt to test
For serve up:
1 tbsp. of sour cream or mayonnaise – optional for serving (30 g / 1 oz)
In 2 L bowl
Add 2 ½ lbs. - grinding pork
Add 1 big onion, finely chopped
Add 1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
Add 2 tsp. of salt
Add ¼ tsp. of black pepper
Add 100 ml of cold water
Mix well and leave for 20-30 min. in a cool place
In the 3 L bowl
Add 5 cups of all-purpose flour
Add 1 eggs
Add 1 cup of cold water
Add ½ tsp. of salt
Knead dough for 10-15 min.
Leave for 30 min in the cool place
Separate dough into 4 pieces
Take one and flat it. Thickness should be 1.5-2 mm
Spread stuffing all over
Cut into small pieces
Place it into freezer
When Lazy Meat Dumplings freeze complete, you can cook it.
In the 2 L pot boil salted water
Put Lazy Meat Dumplings into the boiled water (25-30 pieces for 2 serves)
Add bay leaf
Boil it until come to the surface
Drain water and serve with sour cream or mayonnaise and roasted pepper.
