This salad is almost the most recognizable dish on the New Year Eve table for all back to USSR. It is tasty, easy to cook and lovely for the most tastes. This version is what I most like we cooked in Odessa region.

How it looks with vegetable oil.

NOTE:
1. I prefer to mix all ingredients except eggs and mayonnaise for salad in ahead of time and store it in a refrigerator. It gives you a flexibility to serve a salad for couple days.
2. Also it is very important for the best taste of salad to select all ingredients only high quality. It means if the taste of all ingredients separately before adding to mixture is perfect, the result mixed taste will be also out of the words.
3. I also recommend using the Russian or Ukrainian mayonnaise. It is tastier and less sour then any American’s brand one.
4. The salad with bologna sausage is real “Olivie” from USSR. With cooked chicken breast it named salad “Stolichniy”.
