Yellow Peas Soup

Ingredients:

• 2 potatoes Russet, medium, peeled cubes (220 g / 8 oz.)
• 1 carrot, medium, peeled, sliced (150 g / 5 oz.)
• 1 onion, medium, peeled, chopped (150 g / 5 oz.)
• 1 cup of yellow peas, dried (150 g / 5 oz.)
• 1 bay leaf
• 1 tbsp. of salt to taste
• 1 pinch of Black pepper
• 300 g Pork or Beef ribs (option) 300 g / 11 oz.

Directions:

Slow cooker 8 cups (3 L)
1. Add 2 potatoes Russet, medium, peeled, and cubes
2. Add 1 carrot, medium, peeled, sliced
3. Add 1 onion, medium, peeled, chopped
4. Add 1 cup of yellow peas, dried
5. Add 300 g Pork or Beef ribs (option)
6. Add 1 tbsp. of salt to taste
7. Add 1 pinch of Black pepper to test
8. Add 1 bay leaf to test
9. Add water to fill a pot
10. Select “Soup” on the slow cooker menu
11. In 2 hours the magic will happen

Notes

Soup should be gold with perfect aroma, tendered ingredients, thick consistency.

Dangerous! Never add water at the end of all. It completely kills taste. Garlic bread is also good with it.
